About 028 calls
Calls to 028 numbers cost the same as other UK landline calls and are usually included in your minutes. A 028 number on your screen suggests a line registered in Northern Ireland, but internet phone services let callers use local-looking numbers from anywhere. Scammers sometimes fake local numbers so you are more likely to answer.
